My approach
My therapeutic approach is holistic, honouring the deep connection between mind and body in the healing process. I believe true healing comes from addressing emotional and physical well-being.
I believe that you are already whole, and nothing about you is broken. We all develop strategies to cope with life circumstances and to feel safe in the world. Patterns such as anxiety, numbing, dissociation, people-pleasing, or perfectionism often served an important purpose at one point in our lives. However, over time, these ways of being can create pain, discomfort, or limitations. Therapy provides a supportive space to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop new ways of engaging with life that feel more authentic and aligned.
My work is client-centred and collaborative, grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. Drawing on therapeutic modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices, I guide and support a holistic healing journey. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, memories, body sensations, and nervous system responses. Through this process, we will move at a pace that feels right for you, creating a safe and supportive environment for growth, healing, and meaningful transformation.
My Background
My path into counselling began with a deep curiosity about the human experience—the ways we relate to ourselves, our bodies, and the world around us. I’ve always been drawn to understanding what it means to live in alignment, to reconnect with the parts of us that we sometimes lose along the way.
For much of my life, I saw success through a lens of striving—pushing forward, achieving, and performing. It’s a message so many of us internalize, only to realize that relentless effort often leaves us feeling disconnected and uncertain about what truly matters. This realization is what led me to explore what it means to pause, to listen inward, and to let go of the idea that we are something to “fix” or perfect.
I believe healing happens when we learn to come home to ourselves—when we honour all parts of who we are and allow space for both our challenges and our growth. As a counsellor, I bring warmth, compassion, and curiosity into my work, creating a space where you can explore your own experience and move toward deeper connection and meaning.
